At more than 80 million members strong in the United States alone, Generation Y—also known as the Millennials—is more influential with each passing year. If you are a member of this generation, you probably have a desire to make a difference in the world, and you’re probably super-connected. You may be asking the question “What am I called to do in this life?” or “How can I serve more effectively?” You may also be wondering “What kind of education should I have” or “How do I launch successfully into a career that is meaningful and provides well for my family?” If you’re about to finish high school or college and are contemplating further education, you may be asking “is this education worth it?”

Since 2000, Millennial 360 Founder and Principal John Basie has been coaching, teaching, and mentoring Millennials. He has served as a university dean, student life director, and professor. Through years of experience in coaching young adults, John came to the conclusion that Millennials who set themselves up for success early in life are those who have a 360 degree life orientation—that is, they see themselves holistically. These are the young adults who have caught a compelling vision for their lives through earnestly seeking to discover their purpose, develop their character, and intentionally direct their God-given potential. He launched Millennial 360 in 2014 out of a desire to help Millennials find their callings and maximize their potential in college, their careers, and key life transitions.

John is currently the Director of Impact 360 Institute’s Scholars and Masters Programs.  The Institute is an innovative educational organization affiliated with Union University, Lifeshape Foundation, and Chick-fil-A, Inc, and is dedicated to serving young Christ-followers as they seek to grow in their understanding of a biblical worldview, servant leadership, and discernment of calling.  He has served there since 2006.
